I’m a 54-year-old man who has been living with Ulcerative Colitis (UC) for over 10 years. Since my diagnosis, I have been on every medication out there – traditional Rx pills and infusions, homeopathy, steroids, diet changes, chiropractic, etc.) A few of these alleviated my symptoms, but only for a short period of time, and they came with various negative side effects, including increasing my risk for other diseases. Most of these treatments did not help me at all, and ended up being a waste of considerable time and money (thousands of dollars). Worst, though, was the feeling of hopelessness. I was facing a lifetime of pain with no light at the end of the tunnel.
My wife encouraged me to speak to Nance regarding my ongoing struggles. One year ago, I made the call, ready to try anything. We spoke for an hour and discussed a plan that seemed achievable. We spoke weekly over the next few months to help keep me on track. She is a wonderful person who was always there to encourage me to stay the course to help me achieve our good mind and body goals.
As I started to see tangible positive results after a few weeks, it helped to reinforce the positive behaviors and thoughts Nance helped instill in me. I was able to reduce the number and amount of UC-related drugs I was taking to just one maintenance pill at night (and I hope to stop taking that in the near future). I just had a colonoscopy in July 2017, and the results were amazing! My UC is now considered ‘mild,’ which is a dramatic improvement to say the least, over past results. My gastroenterologist was astounded. I knew I had been feeling better and better, and I felt like a kid who just got an ‘A’ on an exam! My symptoms have remained at bay, and I’m feeling the best I’ve felt in years. I owe a huge debt of thanks and gratitude to Nance, and I am happy and proud to call her a friend and recommend her services to others so they too can enjoy a happier and healthier life.
